SORRY SOLD Solid Sterling Silver full hunter by J.W.Benson. Hallmarked 1885.

The Company started in 1848 and had its own factory until 1941 when it was bombed after which they imported all movements. This particular movement is a Swiss cylinder and is rocking bar set and button wind. Running strongly, having been recently serviced. The solid silver case is substantial and springs open when the winding button is depressed. The inner dome shows the warrant of the Company. Ideal for dress wear and fabulous as a present for somebody. The case is Hallmarked London 1885 and signed JWB in 3 places. The face is signed and has one faint hairline, and the case some minor dings. Price £150
