SORRY SOLD A large english lever going
barrel watch with false fusee to fool the onlooker. ("If it winds anti-clockwise
it can't be one of those cheap imports!"). Hallmarked Silver for Birmingham
1916. The case maker's signature is W.E in an oval suggesting William Ehrhardt
whose factory would most likely have been responsible for the whole watch.Whilst
worn smooth by the passage of time the case is in good condition. Under the
clear glass there is a perfect enamel dial with gold colour hour and minute
hands. The Movement snaps well into the case and runs well.
A real bargain purchase at £95.
