Substantial English lever of 1891
A distinguished and substantial solid silver pocket watch. Hallmarked Chester for 1891. All parts of the case shut as they should but the rear cover now needs to be opened manually. There is evidence of previous ownership and a couple of minor dings. These do not distract from the very impressive appearance of this watch. Its dial, face and hands give it a superb impression. It is a large English lever with False Fusee, which is functioning strongly and keeping good time. A real stunner, signed B.Dodson of Manchester. The case is signed I.J.T.N which is Isaac Jabey Theo Newsome (Newsome and Yeomans). A great watch for use.
Priced at £150.
