This is an unusual and stunning clock. I believe the case to be made totally from stone, marble and slate. It has very intricate detail to the zig zag borders, the lovely shaped buds, the fine detail and contrasts of the main finial and the four helical columns. I can't be sure of the overall age of the clock as stone stays so prestine. The movement is a replacement, signed Mercedes and is 30hr, although we can replace it with an 8 day movemnt should this be favoured, at an extra cost of £20. Being only 9.75"to the top of the main finial it will not overpower any mantel piece but provide an elegant finishing touch to any lounge.
