400 grammes of 8 Day Goliath

This monster is 75mm in dia and 105mm from the top of the bow to the base of the hinge. Housed in a nickel case it fits the bill as a travelling watch/clock, a desk clock or a cabinet clock. Its huge weight rules it out as a pocket watch, but that depends on your pocket of course! The dial I believe to be a replacement with some restoration work at the centre and edges to allow it to fit. There is no damage to the case and this houses a very strong 8 day movement which keeps very good time. All parts of the case are hinged and fit very well. Pin set and stem wound. A real discussion piece and very functional.
