ORIS Art Deco Style Watch

Both the nickel case and the movement are by the famous watch house of Oris

It is in super condition for its age and the movement displays some nice features. First, it is 7 jewel which was the high end of quality for its intended market. Second, the spring barrel can be removed without disturbing the rest of the movement by unscrewing a spigotted arbor bearing. Third, it has a shock absorber system on the balance pivot incorporating a spring arm.

A very interesting and attractive piece.
