SORRY SOLD A reasonably early example of the watches produced by the very important American Waltham Watch Company. Serial No. of the movement is 6577763 made 1893/4. Full plate movement with jewelling signed Am Watch Co. Compensating balance and key wind. Also marked with "Safety Pinion". Guilding in good condition and the movemnt runs strongly. The case is Hallmarked Birmingham 1895 and signed AB.This being the mark of Alfred Bedford (Waltham UK and used by Aaron Dennison). The case itself is in good condition with the exception of a little damage to the outer dome. A small and faint hair line on the dial across the 4 o'clock postion is the only defect. Key set. (supplied) This cleaned and serviced movement is a joy to behold. Offered at a reduced price of £85.
